 First chartered in 1965 and
re-chartered in 1993, the North Iowa Detachment of the Marine Corps League is a vibrant and active veteran's organization in the North Iowa area. 

Corps

 Dedicated to promoting and preserving ideals of the United States Marine Corps, membership is open to all present and veteran Marines and Navy corpsmen that were attached to an FMF unit. Also non Marines may join as an associate member.  Is not just a saying.  It is the creed of thousands of men and women who honorably served our Corps and our Country. 

League

 Come look us over.  There is no obligation to join.  Should you decide to, you will be associating again with the greatest band of Brothers and Sisters in the world.  Once again, continue to be one of

Toys for Tots

 MISSION:

The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.


The North Iowa Marine Corps League covers 10 counties for Toys for Tots in the North Central area of Iowa. 

Annual Events

The  North Iowa Marine Corps League has an annual picnic in East Park during the month of August.  We also have a Marine Corps Birthday Celebration Dinner every year in November.
